How do I schedule my initial appointment?
As a new patient, Dr. Fricke requires a referral from you primary care physician in order to setup a consultation. Once a referral is sent to our office you should expect a phone call from within 2-3 business days. If you have not heard from us within this time please give us a call. Screening colonoscopies may be scheduled without a referral.
What is the next step in managing my health problem?
Depending on the results of procedures, lab tests, and x-rays, Dr. Fricke will usually follow-up with his patients at the next scheduled appointment, via phone call, or further testing. If you are ever in doubt about the continuation of your care, please feel free to contact our office or e-mail us with your concerns.
When will the doctor most likely contact me?
Dr. Fricke usually contacts his patients after he is finished with his business day, unless there is a more immediate concern. It is not at all unusual to receive a call from him in the evening if that is the first opportunity he has to contact you.
Should I follow up with my primary care physician?
Patients should always have a primary care physician as a foundation for their health care. Dr. Fricke prefers that your primary care doctor handles the issues unrelated to gastroenterology, but he will work in close conjunction with your doctor to provide you with optimum medical care.
